Sims will travel to Memphis, Tennessee for the final ASA Late Model Series event of the year on November 7th. "The King's Ransom 300" will bring together the ASA Late Model Series drivers from the North, South and Challenge Series for the Grand Final of 2009. The race will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 2:30 pm and is sure to be one of the most memorable events of the season. Top teams from every division past and present will throw their hat in this bullring. The "King's Ransom" unlike any other ASALMS event of the season will be 300 laps.

The King's Ransom 300 will be a televised event. The race will air Prime time on December 22, 2009 at 8pm Eastern on Fox Sport Midwest. Jordan will have an in-car camera for the event.

The "Kings Ransom 300" ASA Late Model Series Race will be the last event held at the track after the announcement was made last week that Dover Motorsports, Inc. was ceasing all operations at Memphis Motorsports Park and that it would not be promoting any events in Memphis in 2010.
