Sims ran an exciting race for 50 of his best Canadian fans that travelled the distance to come and watch the ASA Late Model North Series race in Dixie. Sims qualified in the 15th position. The car wasn't handling well from the start of the race. The Lorz Motorsports team pulled the #99 Sims Countertop sponsored car off on the first caution of the race on the 12th lap to make some adjustments to the car. Jordan went to the back of the pack of 20 cars on the restart. He had his work cut out for him against the contingent of experienced drivers but he skillfully moved his way through the entire field and finished in 6th position. This was Jordan's first time to the Dixie Speedway. Awesome race - you gave your fans lots to cheer about!
