Berlin Raceway - Finished 15th 22Jun2009Source: ..
Jordan managed to finish 15th on Saturday night at Berlin Speedway. What appeared to be the start of a great race - turned on the 30th lap to become a battle to survive. Jordan started in 13th position and had moved up to 8th place by the 30th lap when a caution came out. This would have been a great opportunity to improve his position in the field - his car was fast and handling well. Unfortunately he picked up some debris on the track after the caution and his right rear tire started to go down making the car really hard to handle on the already challenging Berlin Speedway Track. On the 70th lap, he spun without incident allowing him to go into the pits and get a new rear tire. Jordan fought with the handling for the rest of the race but managed to finish 15th and bring the car home in one piece.
Jordan remains 5th in the ASA Late Model North Series points race and 2nd in the Rookie Points.
Next race is in Lacrosse, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 27th.
